Space to Breathe. A Place to Recharge.
For San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle and his wife Claire, balance is everything. Their life moves fast, filled with games, travel, and public appearances. When the opportunity came to slow down and create a private retreat, they knew exactly what they wanted. Peace, privacy, and purpose-built beauty.
“We found this property back in 2020,” George said. “We loved Nashville and the vibe of the city, but we wanted some land. Out here we have over seventy acres, surrounded by trees, sitting on a bluff with a view of the whole area. It’s peaceful but still close to everything.”
A Property Designed for Gathering
The Kittles love to host. Friends, family, and teammates visit often, and they wanted space for everyone to stay comfortably. “We love having people over,” George explained. “So having a property where we can build and do whatever we want has been huge. We’ve already added a football field, and now this tiny home gives guests a place to stay right on site.”
Their Nordic and Spruce Weekender adds the perfect mix of style and function. “It’s beautiful,” George said. “The aesthetic is amazing, and it matches everything else on our property. It’s efficient, but you still feel like you have space. It’s absolutely gorgeous inside.”
A Retreat Within a Retreat
For George and Claire, the Weekender serves more than one purpose. It’s a guest space, a private getaway, and a personal escape from the nonstop pace of professional football.
“During the season, it’s go, go, go,” George shared. “I’m in California from late July to February, and there’s constant travel and stress. So when I get back here, it’s about slowing down. Out here, I can light a fire, sit outside, and listen to the forest. It’s good for the mind, body, and soul.”
When he and Claire need a quiet date night, they stay in the Weekender themselves. “We can come out here and it doesn’t even feel like we’re in Tennessee,” he said. “You feel like you’re up in the mountains somewhere. It’s just relaxing.”
Designed for Beauty and Balance
The Weekender’s hallmark is its flow. Tall windows, natural light, and handcrafted details bring the outdoors inside. “You just don’t see a lot of homes like this,” George said. “The windows give you these amazing views. Whether you’re sitting inside or out on the porch, it feels like you’re deep in nature.”
Built with Nordic and Spruce’s signature attention to craftsmanship, the home combines strength and simplicity. Every material and detail is meant to last and to fit naturally into its surroundings.
A Forever Property. A Lasting Retreat.
“This is our forever home,” George said. “We knew it the second we found it. There’s space to grow, space to breathe, and it’s the perfect distance from Nashville. We don’t have to go into the city for a week if we don’t want to.”
As the Kittles continue to add to their property, the Weekender stands as one of their favorite features. A quiet sanctuary on their own land.
“It’s just something unique,” George said. “You can add it to your property and it makes everything better. It’s beautiful, it’s peaceful, and it gives you space to get away without going anywhere.”
